okay, the story I heard was that at some point in the show in seattle, richard threw charlie's ashes into the audience. whether or not they were the real deal, I dunno. does anyone know if this happened, and if they continued doing it on the rest of the tour (which I sadly missed!). If it's true, it's a beautiful send off for charlie!

They did sprinkle around Charlie's ashes at every show ... Alan missed me in Chicago and Louisville, but I wound up in a cloud of the stuff in Toronto. It was real ... they had to have the stuff scanned as they crossed the border into Canada.
